FAQS

Yes, as a general rule, you should state this. So, for example, if you have created audiovisual content with the help of AI, you must indicate this within the content itself (e.g. in the footer, header or credits), specifying whether it was developed exclusively by AI or with the help of AI. Depending on the type of content, you should also state this in the metadata. You should also include this in the service agreement for your clients, for the sake of transparency.
Firstly, ensure that neither you nor your team used any AI tools to develop a project and that the relevant licence was not obtained. Secondly, you must report this to the AI provider. Thirdly, if you are suffering harm as a result, discuss the viability of a claim with your solicitor. We can help you.
First and foremost, you must analyse the type of licence you are using and what it does and does not permit; what is prohibited; what this entails in terms of copyright for you or when you upload your own content. Also, if the result includes faces that identify human beings, whether famous or not, you must proceed with caution as this may affect both the person’s right to honour or image and their privacy or personal life. Please consult us.

First, you’ll need to analyze whether the AI is proprietary or from a third party, and the associated security and data protection issues for that solution, determining which solution is most suitable.

In parallel, you’ll need to formalize the corresponding contracts with voice actors, granting you permission to use their voices for these purposes and formats, if applicable.
Regarding the provision of services to end clients, you must also be transparent about the use of these tools, clearly stating this in your contracts or licenses.
We also recommend that you analyze your actions to see if they have any other legal impacts, risks, or consequences.

You can use it, but you should review the solution’s terms and conditions or license to see if it allows you to use it without further ado, or if you need to indicate in your creations that the resulting work was created with the help of AI. Most AI solutions require this latter indication.

Again, we recommend you read the license terms and conditions. Many AI providers, especially free ones, then use the content you upload for their own purposes, meaning you could later find your content being used by third parties. This, in turn, could constitute a breach of any agreements you may have with the voice actors.

Do you use AI tools in your projects?

We can help you do so in full compliance with the law.

Developing guidelines for the use of AI tools

Are you starting to use artificial intelligence in your business and want to ensure you’re doing so correctly from a legal perspective? We help you define how these tools should be used within your organisation. We draw up clear protocols setting out what is and isn’t permitted, with the aim of protecting your assets: copyright, personal data, confidentiality, trade secrets, reputation… and everything else that matters to you.

Advice from the design phase of an AI project

Are you launching a project that incorporates artificial intelligence? We support you from the outset so that no legal detail is overlooked. We analyse potential risks with you, draft the necessary legal clauses for contracts and legal documents, and propose security measures to be implemented before launch. The idea is simple: prevention is better than cure.

Legal review of AI-related contracts

If you are going to provide services, collaborate with third parties or develop solutions using artificial intelligence, we review your contracts to ensure they are in order. We ensure they comply with the European AI Regulation (and all other applicable regulations), and that you and your project have maximum legal certainty at every step.

Tell us what you’re working on, and let’s discuss how to legally protect your next AI project.
